• A network can be define das 2 or more computing devices which are connecte together for the puropose of sharing a resources

• typocally , there a client who is rewuesting a service and there is a server which provides the services and resources

• a resource can be anything which a user wants to access or share with another user on the network

• Resources can be a file on file server a centralized network prinrer or even a gamming server
